About cookr
This is a project stemmed from the nuisance of simple things costing 5 dollars a month. I do not believe AI-driven summarization that only uses AI as a fallback (most of it is handled via structured data) should cost 5 dollars a month, where the value for those 5 dollars is overcompensated with social media-like features.
This app focuses on just summarizing the recipes and converting them into metric or imperial unit systems (still in beta).
Donations will be open soon to support infrastructure costs and you are welcome to donate as much as you want. If the funds reach an appropriate amount to cover this or several other years of infrastructure operations, I will update the donation page saying that further donations for the moment are not spent on infrastructure costs as those are already covered by previous donations.
